That’s… wrong, actually. The reason why I know people are good is because… I had nothing to offer. I couldn't work hard. I truly had nothing. And people still found it in themselves to reach hands out to me and help me. Save me, feed me, teach me, take care of me. I did nothing to deserve that kindness, but people have always, always treated me kindly after that day.

That's why I know that story is wrong, because just because someone doesn't have anything to offer the world, doesn't mean people will just toss you away.
